I couldn’t be more excited about the future of Vitality. Things are going great! We're expanding and growing every day. From what started as a two-person operation, we are now a staff of fifteen, with four Nurse Practitioners, a Nutrition Educator, and one of the top Nurse Aesthetic Providers in the state. It really shows that wonderful things have happened, and continue to happen, just by making the seemingly simple and obvious choice to put my patients first—to prioritize above everything else their total-body wellness.
But while I’m so happy with how things have turned out, I definitely don’t feel like we’ve “reached the finish line.” I’m inspired daily by just how much more there is out there to learn and how much more I can do for people. In the early 1900's, it took seventy-five years for the medical knowledge we had to double. In 2004, research improved, it took five years for all medical knowledge we had to double. Today, it takes seven days. Medicine is growing and changing rapidly, and Vitality was designed in a way that its providers could keep themselves at the forefront of medical knowledge. Providers at Vitality are always learning. From the International Peptide Society, to the Institute of Functional Medicine, they are training with the leaders in wellness. This allows us to bring patients the very best in medical care.
When people hear that we're on the forefront of medicine, I don't want them to think that means we'll try whatever the new buzz is about. While I’m committed to always bringing the very best to Vitality, not just anything will do. A lot goes into my decision-making process. An example--we recently introduced an infrared sauna to our office. This sauna is the only one on the market scientifically studied and proven effective in seven different health programs. It really is the best of the best. We also recently introduced a treatment called Sculptra. Sculptra provides full facial restoration for men and women who, while naturally aging, have lost collagen, fat, and bone. Sculptra stimulates the body's own production of collagen. Results are natural because literally, it prompts your body to do what it naturally does. The results are also long-lasting. The clinical studies stopped at twenty-four months, and patients were still thrilled with their results.
