Even certain medications, like chemotherapy drugs or chronic overuse of acetaminophen, can deplete glutathione stores and make it harder for the liver to produce glutathione.

Balanced Diet: Consuming foods rich in sulfur-containing amino acids, such as cysteine, helps boost glutathione levels. Sources include garlic, onions, cruciferous vegetables, and lean protein.


Supplementation: In some cases, individuals may consider glutathione supplements or IV therapy, or precursors like N-acetylcysteine (NAC) to support the body's glutathione production.
