Juvederm
Juvéderm is a dermal filler that utilizes hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring compound in humans. It works to soften wrinkles, restore facial volume, improve elasticity, and plump the skin. As we age, the levels of hyaluronic acid and collagen decrease, leading to volume loss and the formation of wrinkles. Juvéderm addresses this by replenishing hyaluronic acid, stimulating collagen production, and filling areas where volume has been lost in the face. Manufactured by Allergan, Juvéderm is an injectable gel with a smooth consistency. Restylane
Restylane is a widely utilized dermal filler known for its ability to restore volume and reduce wrinkles on the face. This exceptional product is crafted with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our skin cells. Upon administration to a specific area, it binds to water molecules, lifting the skin from below and producing a rejuvenated appearance. The effects typically endure for six months to two years, influenced by factors such as the treatment area, age, and lifestyle choices. Restylane's versatility extends to various cosmetic purposes, including enhancing lips, smoothing facial folds like nasolabial or marionette lines, and sculpting cheeks for enhanced definition.

Can Vitality be my primary care?While Vitality is not primary care, it definitely knows the value of primary care. Vitality is specialized care that works with you and your primary care provider to help you achieve optimal wellness. We are not available for same-day emergency appointments.

Is Vitality covered by insurance?Vitality’s holistic approach to medicine frequently goes unrecognized by insurance companies. Because our focus is on your wellness, not an insurance company’s bottom line, we do not participate in any insurance networks. We will give you an itemized receipt which is typically sufficient for HSA and Flexible Spending Accounts.

Can I run bloodwork through insurance?Yes, you may opt to have an outside source that accepts insurance run your lab work for you. We are happy to provide you with a lab order for this process. Please note that we have worked diligently to negotiate competitive lab rates and are able to draw the Vitality Baseline Panel in the office. Patients are typically billed up to $3000 for this panel when run through their insurance at a lab or hospital. It is important that you check with your insurance company to see what labs they will cover if you have them drawn at a lab/hospital.

Do you accept HSA?As a fully functioning medical practice, Vitality does accept HSA cards. Please talk to your Health Savings Account Manager about any coverage questions.

How long does it take to get a refill?Please allow 2-3 days for our office to process any prescription refill request. Requests can be sent through your patient portal, through our HIPPA compliant texting service or by calling our office.
